Our company is providing our customers with skin care products using the long term experiences of traditional herbal common knowledge and dermatology’s latest scientific results in order to create personal beauty in a natural and healthy way. The majority of herbal raw materials used by us come from certified organic farms which substances in case of our organic cosmetic products are certified by Biokontroll Hungária Non-profit Kft. or ECOCERT. We regularly check our vegetal ingredient suppliers whether they follow all regulations and use environmental friendly technologies during the growing of vegetal substances necessary for the manufacturing of our cosmetic products.
All our organic cosmetic products – as it is shown by the logo on our product labels – are certified by Biokontroll Hungária Non-profit Kft. considering the used ingredients and production technology.
Furthermore the eligibility of our laboratory for organic cosmetic products manufacturing is also checked regularly by Biokontroll Hungária.
Our natural cosmetic products are manufactured based on German natural cosmetic standards generally accepted throughout Europe.
During our production we consider environmental friendly management. We use environmental friendly disinfectants and cleaning substances in our plant currently according to GMP quality management system while our company’s ISO 9001 certification is pending.
In our cosmetic products we do not use:
- Ethoxylated emulsifiers
- Synthetic colorings
- Parabene-type preservatives
- Preservatives containing izotiazolin-derivatives
- Propylene-glycol, butylene-glycol as hydrating agents
- Mineral oils, petroleum based substances
- Synthetic compounds containing aluminum
- Glycerin of animal origin
- Superfluous aggregates and additives
We do not test our products on animals.
We only use GMO-free raw materials.
We do not use ionizing radiation even for preservation purposes.
Descriptions of reference
We have been manufacturing majority of our products based on the standards of the German BDIH (Bundesverband Deutscher Industrie- und Handelsunternehmen) which are generally accepted and professionally recognised throughout Europe. We do not use such ingredients in our natural and organic cosmetic products which are prohibited or not suggested to be used in natural cosmetic products by the BDIH based on dermatological, toxicological and health care risk analysis. Furthermore during the manufacturing of our products we do not apply prohibited procedures, E.g. gamma-radiation, raw materials made of genetically modified organisms, like corn seed. We do not test any of our products on animals, because we only use such ingredients which have been used for decades and are highly pure and healthy.
Instead of fats and proteins derived from slaughtered animals – which are prohibited in natural and organic cosmetic products – we only use substances of vegetal origin, E.g. shea butter.
We have developed our Biola ecological cosmetic product line (organic product line) which provides face and body skin care with products made of certified organic ingredients. This product line was certified and authorized by BIOKONTROLL Hungária Non-profit Kft in autumn 2006, based on the Hungarian rules and regulations for ecological products and specific standards for such cosmetic products which have been in power since 2005. Based on the current specific Hungarian regulations our products are manufactured using even 18 times as much certified organic raw material, because the Hungarian regulations are much stricter than the widely recognised ECOCERT standards in Europe. Organic cosmetic products must be certified in every case and Biokontroll makes periodical checking to ensure the continuous compliance with their regulations. Because of this the logo of Biokontroll Hungária is present on the labels of all organic products.
